Welcome to the Astrea Trust Whole School SEND professional development group! I’m looking forward to meeting and working with you over the next few months.  The purpose of the group is to offer structure, support, guidance and encouragement for you to be able to identify and overcome challenges relating to SEND and inclusion in your role and setting.

Our theme will be effective leadership of SEND and inclusion but the scope of this is very broad, so please don’t worry if you’re not sure at this stage what your involvement will entail; we will support you to identify a meaningful and manageable project to work on for the duration of the group.  Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions but, otherwise, I will see you in the first session.

  • Session 1: 11th September 3.15 - 4.45pm (online)
  • Session 2: 9th October 3.15 - 4.45pm (online)
  • Session 3: 6th November 3.15 - 4.45pm (online)

  • Session 5: 22nd January 2026 3.15 - 4.45pm (online)
