This proposal outlines a strategic plan to develop and implement a consistent, inclusive, and sensory-friendly learning environment across six primary schools as part of the Blackdown Education Partnership Trust.

The initiative aims to support all learners, particularly those with communication challenges, sensory processing differences, and neurodiverse needs (highest level of identified need across all 6 schools). By embedding universal design principles and inclusive communication strategies, the project aims to enhance student engagement, reduce anxiety, and improve educational outcomes.

Outcomes

  • Promote and build inclusive education
  • Establish a unified framework for communication and sensory-friendly environment / practices.
  • Enhance staff capacity and understanding through training and resources
