Inclusion is important to get right for all children.
Mainstream Senior leaders, Inclusion leads, and SENDCos from Hammersmith and Fulham are invited to participate in a Professional Development Group in which they will be supported to develop high quality Adaptive teaching through effective change management processes. This will support local, ongoing, quality assurance processes by the Local Authority.
Practical tasks:
- Schools will complete the case study at the end of the programme
- Georgina Herry, Head of School Effectiveness will complete the overarching Case study and impact of the project.
Dates and times of sessions
- Session 1: 7th Oct 25: 10am – 3pm, (in-person, venue details will be sent by email)
Develop an understanding of how the EEF implementation cycle supports effective strategic improvement of Adaptive Teaching in Primary and Secondary.
- Features of high-quality Adaptive Teaching
- The Exploration and Planning stage
- The Delivery stage - a focus on how to support staff, monitor progress, solve problems, and adapt strategies as the approach is used for the first time.
- Session 2: 18th Nov 25: 2pm -3:30pm, (Online)
The sustaining stage - planning to sustain and scale your PfAEY intervention from the outset, and continuously acknowledge and nurture its use.
- Session 3: 2nd Dec 25: 2pm – 3:30pm, (Online)
Sharing project success and building a community of best practice.
