Professional Development Group for SENCOs / Inclusion Leads from Primary or Secondary settings, focussing on transition.

This professional development group aims to support school improvement and pupil outcomes in relation to transition for learners with SEND. 

3 online meetings will be underpinned by developing a secure knowledge of the Education Endowment Foundation’s Implementation Cycle framework.

Participants will identify an area of school improvement related to transition, and work collaboratively with the group to explore, plan, deliver and evaluate school improvement for transition within their settings.

Experienced facilitators will support participants to identify and refine a focus for their school project before embarking on the delivery phase.

Throughout the process, participants will work alongside facilitators to share expertise around transition. The programme will develop the confidence and expertise of SENCos/Inclusion Leads to develop high quality transition processes and experiences within their schools in order top secure positive outcomes for learners with SEND

Dates and times of sessions

• Session 1: 2nd October 3.30-5pm (online)
• Session 2: 27th November 3.30-5pm (online)
• Session 3: 29th January 3.30-5pm (online)
