This event is suitable for classroom practitioners, school and trust leaders who want to deepen their understanding of effective adaptive teaching for maximizing inclusion in the classroom and universal offer.

Rooted in the belief that inclusion is not simply a requirement but a mindset, this session invites participants to reflect more deeply on how everyday teaching practices can remove barriers and create learning environments where all pupils can participate meaningfully.

Drawing on sector expertise, lived experience and examples from across different settings, the event will highlight practical strategies that enhance curriculum access, strengthen the universal offer, and support all learners to thrive.

Attendees will leave with actionable tools and renewed clarity on how adaptive teaching underpins inclusion in all settings.

Objectives:

  • To understand the research and evidence behind adaptive teaching

  • To consider the importance of relationships for effective adaptive teaching

  • To share best practice and good examples

  • To share case studies of effective practice

Desired outcomes:

For every attendee to leave with a deeper understanding and some knew ideas they can apply in their setting, whatever their role.
