FREE Early Years training now available!

Our FREE Early Years DfE-funded training is set to continue, under the Early Years SEND Partnership.

nasen is proud to be part of the partnership led by the Council for Disabled Children (CDC). The other partners are:

Join us for brand new dates of our Meeting the Needs of Every Child training, designed for Early Years practitioners, childminders, and new SENCOs. This is a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of inclusive practice for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Early Years settings.

With a variety of flexible dates to suit you, this training will support you to  expand your knowledge, and help create inclusive and supportive environments for every child.

Meeting the needs of every child

The training session will provide practitioners with a thorough understanding of inclusive practice for SEND in Early Years settings, including:

  • Responsibilities of a setting towards children with SEND 
  • The role of the SENCO and the Key Person in PVI settings 
  • The importance of the early identification of SEND 
  • What effective inclusive practice looks like 
  • How to develop positive relationships with parents and carers of children with SEND 
  • nasen’s free Early Years resources to support you in meeting the needs of all children in your setting 

You will be emailed supportive documents before the webinar to use during the training and, on completion of an evaluation after the webinar, you will receive a certificate.
