PD Groups

For professionals ready to work on a school improvement project over time.

National Professional Development (PD) Groups are facilitated, cohort-based groups where professionals work on a defined school improvement project over time.

These are not webinars or one-off CPD sessions. Participation involves active engagement across a series of sessions, with work taking place in your setting between sessions.

Participants are expected to commit to attending all sessions and to work on their improvement project between sessions.

This National PD group supports PE and Enrichment leads in schools and multi academy Trusts to learn more about the soon to be released DfE Enrichment Framework. As a group we will explore ways in which we can provide aspirational enrichment, PE and Inclusive sports opportunities for our most vulnerable learners. We will learn more about the Enrichment Framework benchmarks and how we can capture, evidence and celebrate the progress learners make which often sits outside of the traditional curriculum.

We will be joined by colleagues from the DfE, multi-agency partners and most importantly experts by experience who will share the impact high-quality enrichment has had on their lives and how we as school / Trust leaders can further develop our Enrichment offer
