For professionals ready to work on a school improvement project over time.

Professional Development (PD) Groups are facilitated, cohort-based groups where professionals work on a defined school improvement project over time.

These are not webinars or one-off CPD sessions. Participation involves active engagement across a series of sessions, with work taking place in your setting between sessions.

Participants are expected to commit to attending all sessions and to work on their improvement project between sessions.

The aim of this PD Group is to plan for, establish or develop an inclusion base (support or specialist) within a mainstream school for learners with SEND.
Across the programme, participants will collaborate with an Inclusion Base Network and engage with the EEF Implementation Cycle to plan for the set-up of an inclusion base within their setting, establish a new inclusion base with clear vision and rationale or develop provision within an already existing base.

Please note: This PD Group is delivered as a series of sessions and requires commitment to attending all sessions.

• Session 3: Tuesday 19 January 2027, 1:15–3:30pm (in-person)
