St. Gabriel's Region 1 Professional Development (PD) Group

For professionals ready to work on a school improvement project over time.

Professional Development (PD) Groups are facilitated, cohort-based groups where professionals work on a defined school improvement project over time.

These are not webinars or one-off CPD sessions. Participation involves active engagement across a series of sessions, with work taking place in your setting between sessions.

Participants are expected to commit to attending all sessions and to work on their improvement project between sessions. 

This Professional Development group aims to strengthen Principals' leadership of SEND and inclusion, ensuring that every school provides a high-quality, inclusive education where all pupils feel they belong and can achieve. The programme will support leaders in meeting their statutory responsibilities while developing sustainable systems that improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

Please note: This PD Group is delivered as a series of sessions and requires commitment to attending all sessions.

• Session 1: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 9:00-10:30am (in-person)
• Session 2: Friday 13 November 2026, 10:00-11:30am (online)
• Session 3: Wednesday 3 February 2027, 9:00-11:00am (in-person)
