In the seventh, annual nasen Awards, 16 schools, individuals and organisations were recognised for their outstanding work to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and learning differences to reach their full potential. The inspiring nasen ceremony, held at the Grand Hotel Birmingham on Friday (6th October 2023), was supported by official media sponsors, tes.

Each nasen Award category is judged by our judging panel of hand-picked professionals who all have a wealth of experience working across the educational industry.

This year nasen Awards will take place on 3rd October 2025 in Birmingham.
Every year, nasen receives an overwhelming amount of nominations from people putting forward organisations and individuals who champion those within the SEND sector and deserve.

This year, we have 17 categories up for grabs!
You may notice some new ones to last year, as we’ve taken some time to refresh the criteria and make sure that they better reflect the SEND landscape right now.
