Creating a physically safe environment - Primary

This hour-long live online networking session explores how you can create a physically safe environment for all learners in a primary setting. It provides an opportunity for delegates to network with colleagues from across the country, to share experiences and learn from others. One of our regional leads will facilitate the session and participants will be encouraged to ask questions and join in pertinent discussions.
Content will be responsive to the questions and conversations of participants but may cover the following themes:

What is meant by a ‘physically safe environment’
-
The balance between providing care, support and safety, and promoting equality and independence
-
How communication and organisational choices affect learners’ sense of belonging
These sessions build on our online SEND CPD units.
NB: Due to the interactive nature of these sessions, recordings will not be made available after the event, so book now as places are limited!
