There are 18 different categories in the nasen Awards 2026. These were designed to celebrate achievements within school/organisation settings nad reward individuals who are all going that extra mile to support children and young people with SEND. Use the criteria to strengthen your nomination.

BeReady - our official partner for the nasen awards
BeReady have supported the education sector in accessing over £30 million in funding to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Leaders in inclusion, they launched the first Wellbeing Champion Programme for schools in 2022, creating hundreds of Champions who continue to strengthen staff and student wellbeing across the country.
They also introduced a specialist SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) programme to boost support staff skills, and recently expanded their offer with a pioneering Early Years Educator with SEND Level 3 programme. These initiatives equip staff to meet the growing demand for SEND provision and improve learning environments and outcomes for all pupils.
