About this training

This training helps your primary school move beyond surface compliance towards a culture where every neurodivergent child feels they belong and matter. It takes a strengths-based approach and keeps neurodiversity connected to your wider inclusion agenda, rather than treating it as a separate initiative.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Recognise how neurodivergent profiles present in the primary years, focusing on need and strengths rather than labels
• Understand executive function and self-regulation in young children, and how the classroom environment can help or hinder
• Account for intersecting identities and needs, so no child is missed because they do not fit a single picture of neurodivergence
• Use responsive, adaptive teaching and predictable routines that reduce barriers across the school day
• Share responsibility for inclusion across the whole team, from teachers and teaching assistants to lunchtime and office staff
