Effective SEN Support

As a leader it is vital that you have the latest evidence available to you so that you can make evidence-based decisions to enable the children and young people you support to reach their best possible outcomes.

This guide, authored by ASK Research, Coventry University and Department for Education, summarises findings from a summary of published research, referred to as ‘what the evidence says’, and advice from experts and schools and colleges displaying promising practice, referred to as ‘what the sector says’. It is designed to inform the decisions you make and to enable you to share best practice within your organisation.

Suitable for: Assistant Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher, Head Teacher, Inclusion Manager/Leader, Senior Leader
