It saves time and builds the confidence to support neurodivergent learners across academic and vocational programmes.

About this training

This training helps your college move beyond surface compliance towards a culture where every neurodivergent learner feels they belong and matter. It takes a strengths-based approach and keeps neurodiversity connected to your wider inclusion agenda, supporting learners towards independence.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how neurodivergent profiles present in young people and adults, including self-advocacy, disclosure and masking
  • Recognise executive function and regulation differences, and their impact on independent study, placements and vocational tasks
  • Account for intersecting identities and needs, keeping neurodiversity connected to your wider inclusion agenda
  • Apply responsive, adaptive teaching across classrooms, workshops and work-based settings that reduces barriers
  • Share responsibility for inclusion across the college, supporting learners towards independence and employability
